Situated between Katschhof and Hühnermarkt, the Krämerstraße (Grocer street) connects the market square and the Münsterplatz (Cathedral square). Uphill you see the Granus Tower of the city hall, downhill you see Aachen's cathedral. The name of the Krämerstraße hints at it: Trade is traditional in this street. Small elegant boutiques dominate the picture and are complemented by cafes and specialty shops.
