Situated in the northernmost district of Düsseldorf, the small but nice Kaiserswerth, is Jean Claude Bourgeil's restaurant "Schiffchen". Right at the market place and just a few steps from the Rhine bank, the baroque brick building has been the realm of the award-winning French cook for more than 30 years. A short walk away are the partially restored remains of legendary Emperor Barbarossa's medieval palace. The "Weisse Flotte Düsseldorf" offers river boat rides to and from Kaiserswerth.
