Düsseldorf, Old Harbor and Film Museum

The old harbor is in fact neither a harbor nor in this form old. The basin was built without access to the river, in the place of the former port of distress between the citadel and the city fortification. The ship is a 15m long Aalschokker, which was placed there for decoration in 1996. According to the former city fortification, this is where the "longest bar counter in the world" starts, the old town of Düsseldorf. On the other side of the haven, the Film Museum not only offers a permanent exhibition and regular special exhibitions, but also a cinema with an extraordinary program which underlines the theme of the museum. Below the area is the "Parking Garage Altstadt" which is only accessible through the Rheinufer Tunnel.
