Aachen, Audimax

The Auditorium Maximum, or Audimax, is the the largest lecture auditorium of the RWTH Aachen. It has more than 1000 seats. The same building houses two more auditoriums with a combined capacity of about 900 seats. The Audimax building is part of the main campus of the university which is spread out over the whole city. The auditorium is situated on the Alleenring, the outer of two rings of streets which encircle the city center. On the other side of the road is the steel department of the RWTH. The main cafeteria and the AStA of the RWTH Aachen are located in the building on the other side of the intersection. In the distance, the former water tower "Belvedere" peeks over the trees on the Lousberg.
