Situated in the "Bilk" district of Düsseldorf, the Rhine Park Bilk is surrounded by striking architecture: The 240,5 meters tall Rhine Tower, the parliament of North-Rhine Westfalia, the Portobello appartment buildings, the "City Gate" office building and the WDR (not in the picture) encircle the park. The "Rheinufertunnel" (Rhine bank tunnel) crosses beneath the park. The City Gate is located above the south-west entrance of the tunnel. Also underneath the park is a multi-story parking garage.
