Mönchengladbach, Botanic Garden

Adjacent to the Kaiser-Friedrich-Halle, there is a 1km long park called "Bunter Garten". Part of it is the small botanical garden which was created on the site of the nursery garden next to the former municipal cemetery in 1927. The plant collection covers about five hectares and is divided into topical sections, for example a feel and smell garden. The area is open to the public. Expert guides are available for pre-arranged group tours.
