Korschenbroich, Hannen Square

The Hannen square is situated opposite of St. Andrew's church in Korschenbroich. The name "Hannen square" stems from the former location of the Hannen brewery. The Hannen head office at the end of the square is now used by the cultural office of Korschenbroich. The city center is a reduced-traffic area. Numerous shops are at walking distance. Free parking space is available throughout the city. During the "Schützenfest" (town fair), which is renowned far beyond the boundaries of Korschenbroich, the Hannen square is the location of the stands from which the majesties take a salute at the parade.
